Mounting Miyoshi (Cutwater)
A large miyoshi is a feature of hobikisen. The name miyoshisen is derived from this.
Miyoshi is mounted on the bottom panel.
Fix it with a wooden fixer which has completed the process of kigoroshi.)
Nail the upper and lower side panels to the back of miyoshi.

The lower side panel has been nailed to miyoshi.
The lower side panel has been nailed to miyoshi. [ enlargement ]

The joint between the upper and lower side panels is called nozoki. This part should be covered with a copper panel because this section is usually hit hard by waves.
